Our main offices and manufacturing unit are actually located in the old B.F. Goodrich tire facility now designated Canal Place. Valley Rubber was founded in 1985 with one 60” mill for mixing small batches. Over the years, the company has grown significantly. Mixing equipment now includes six mills of various sizes, three extruders, dry mixers, and two internal mixers.
All polymers, except silicone, are mixed at this facility. In addition, black and non-black compounds in virtually any color are mixed at this location. Run sizes run the gamut of small to large (batches of 100 lbs. to multi-batches totaling 10,000 to 20,000
lbs.) Valley Rubber Mixing has the ability to mix small batches of rubber compounds which is particularily attractive to many companies.
Glo-Mold is one of our more popular products among those in the rubber industry. This product allows periodic, quick cleaning of rubber molds, which enable production lines to continue running, free of foul.
